Kimberly McMenamin is a children’s book author specializing in books for military children.
Originally from Volga, South Dakota, Kimberly commissioned into the United States Army from Creighton University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s of Social Work. After serving for seven years as an Adjutant General Officer, Kimberly exited active duty military service to work in the civilian sector before becoming a stay-at-home mom. She also holds a Master’s of Science in Healthcare Administration and Policy from Saint Joseph’s University.
She and her husband, U.S. Army Captain, Marc, have two-year-old twin boys, James and Tyler and a fat tabby cat, Nala. They love traveling with and without the Army and currently live in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas.
Alexandra Williams

Alexandra (Alex) Williams is a children’s book author specializing in books for military children.
Originally from Marietta, Georgia, Alex enlisted in the U.S. Army and commissioned from the Officer Candidate School in 2012. Alex served nearly 10 years, holding positions as aide-de-camp, commander, and special forces human resources officer before transitioning out of the military to pursue a career in healthcare. Alex holds a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology, a Master's of Science in Environmental Management, and a Master's of Science in Human Nutrition. While not writing books, Alex works as a dietetic intern.

Alex's husband, David, still serves in the U.S. Army. They currently reside in Charlotte, North Carolina with their daughter, Willow, and wayward Weimaraner, Maynard.
